NICE Systems (News
- Alert) is showcasing its next generation 9-1-1 solution NICE Inform at the APCO International 78th Annual Conference & Expo. NICE Inform has been designed to ensure that Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs) can capture multiple types of emergency correspondence whether in the form of voice, text, telematics, or video.
The solution can easily import third party video into incident timelines, and combine this with other multimedia data to reconstruct an incident in a more comprehensive manner.
NICE Systems is a global provider of software solutions that deliver strategic insights by capturing and analyzing mass quantities of structured and unstructured data in real time from multiple sources.
The APCO International 78th Annual Conference & Expo will take place on August 19-22 at the Minneapolis Convention Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
NICE will leverage this even to showcase various solutions that address the growing needs of PSAPs to consolidate more diverse forms of multimedia. NICE will also present its call center optimization solutions, which help PSAPs to ensure that the right telecommunicator with the right expertise is available to help citizens.
Attendees of the event will also be able to see NG 9-1-1 systems, which give future PSAPs access to additional information sources such as city-wide surveillance and License Plate Recognition (LPR).
"Next Generation 9-1-1 is now starting to move from the drawing board to reality, and as it does, PSAPs will have access to many new information sources through shared IP networks," said Guy Yaniv, general manager, surveillance solutions division at NICE. "Through our open, cloud-based solutions, NICE is able to help PSAPs leverage shared resources and technology to the fullest, and transform data from all of these sources into insight for decisive action."
NICE was in news earlier this year for capturing and analyzing several business functions, including interactions, offers a full line of customer experience and workforce optimization solutions.
